Announcing the 2022 Longlist for the Women’s Prize for Fiction

We are thrilled to announce the longlist for the 2022 Women’s Prize for Fiction! This year’s list is packed with some of the best and brightest female authors from around the world. From historical fiction to contemporary stories, this year’s longlist has something for everyone.

The Women’s Prize for Fiction is an annual award that celebrates excellence, originality, and accessibility in women’s writing from throughout the world. This year’s longlist includes 15 books from authors from the UK, US, Canada, Ireland, and Australia.

The longlist includes some of the most acclaimed authors of our time, including Margaret Atwood, Zadie Smith, and Hilary Mantel. It also features some exciting new voices, such as debut novelist Naoise Dolan and rising star Daisy Johnson.
