April was an exciting month for me when it came to books! I read a wide variety of genres, from historical fiction to fantasy, and I’m so glad I did. Here’s a quick rundown of the books I read this month:
First up was The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This is a historical fiction novel set in Nazi Germany, and it follows the story of a young girl named Liesel as she navigates her way through a tumultuous time in history. It was an incredibly moving and captivating read that I highly recommend.
Next, I read The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. This is a fantasy novel about a young man named Kvothe who has mysterious origins and is determined to uncover the truth about his past. It was an exciting and imaginative read that kept me hooked until the very end.
Finally, I read The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. This classic novel follows the story of Holden Caulfield, a troubled teenager who is trying to make sense of the world around him. It was an eye-opening read that really made me think about life and the struggles of growing up.
Overall, April was a great month for reading! I had a lot of fun exploring different genres and stories, and I’m looking forward to what May has in store.
