May was a great month for reading! I had the chance to dive into some amazing books that I’ve been wanting to read for a while. Here are the books I read and my thoughts on each one:
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger: This classic coming-of-age novel is a must-read for anyone looking for an honest, raw look at teenage life. The protagonist, Holden Caulfield, is a complex character that you can’t help but root for. I found myself laughing, crying, and empathizing with him throughout the story.
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald: This timeless classic is a great exploration of the American Dream and its consequences. The characters are all so vivid and their stories are so captivating. I was enthralled by the story and the themes it explored.
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho: This is a beautiful story about a shepherd boy’s journey to find his destiny. It’s filled with wisdom and insight that will stay with you long after you finish the book. I found myself reflecting on the lessons I learned from this book and applying them to my own life.
May was a great month for reading and I’m so glad I had the chance to explore these amazing books. Each one was so unique and captivating in its own way. If you’re looking for some great reads, I highly recommend these three!
