1. The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald: This classic novel is a must-read for anyone looking to explore the American Dream. It’s a beautiful story of love, loss, and the pursuit of happiness.
2. The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood: This dystopian novel is an absolute page-turner. It’s a powerful story about women’s rights and the dangers of totalitarianism.
3. The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger: This coming-of-age novel follows the story of Holden Caulfield as he navigates his way through teenage angst and rebellion. It’s a timeless classic that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
4. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee: This Pulitzer Prize-winning novel is a must-read for anyone looking to explore the themes of racism and injustice in America. It’s a powerful story about courage, compassion, and standing up for what’s right.
5. 1984 by George Orwell: This dystopian novel is a cautionary tale about the dangers of totalitarianism and government control. It’s an important read for anyone looking to explore the themes of freedom and oppression.
