Announcing the 2022 Booker Prize Longlist

It’s that time of year again! The Booker Prize Foundation has just announced the longlist for the 2022 Booker Prize, and it’s full of exciting new works of fiction from some of the world’s most talented authors. From debut novelists to established writers, this year’s longlist is sure to have something for everyone.

The 2022 Booker Prize longlist features a diverse range of authors and stories, from the sweeping historical fiction of Sarah Perry’s ‘The Essex Serpent’ to the intimate family drama of Yaa Gyasi’s ‘Transcendent Kingdom’. There are also plenty of debut novelists on the list, including Naoise Dolan’s ‘Exciting Times’ and Kayo Chingonyi’s ‘Kumukanda’.

The longlist also includes some of the biggest names in contemporary fiction, such as Hilary Mantel, Zadie Smith and Margaret Atwood. It’s an exciting time for fans of literary fiction, as the 2022 Booker Prize longlist promises to be one of the most diverse and exciting yet.
