December was a great month for reading! I had the opportunity to dive into some amazing books that I had been wanting to read for some time. Here’s a quick summary of the books I read in December and my thoughts on each one.
First up was “The Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger. This classic novel follows the story of Holden Caulfield, a troubled teenager who is searching for meaning in life. I found the book to be incredibly insightful and thought-provoking. It really made me think about the importance of finding your own path in life.
Next, I read “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This book is a classic for a reason. It’s a beautifully written story about the pursuit of the American Dream. I was captivated by the characters and their struggles to find success and happiness.
Finally, I read “The Girl on the Train” by Paula Hawkins. This psychological thriller had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. It’s a gripping story about a woman who is trying to uncover the truth about a mysterious disappearance. I was completely engrossed in this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished it.
All in all, December was a great month for reading! I’m so glad I had the chance to read these amazing books and I’m looking forward to what 2021 has in store for my reading list.
