Julian Fellowes’ 2004 Novel “Snobs” Reviewed

Recently I had the pleasure of reading Julian Fellowes’ 2004 novel, Snobs. Set in the world of British high society, Snobs is a witty and entertaining look at the lives of the upper class.

The novel follows the story of Edith Lavery, an ambitious young woman from a working-class background who is determined to make her mark in the world of the British aristocracy. Edith’s journey takes her from her humble beginnings to the highest levels of society, and along the way she encounters a variety of characters, both good and bad.

Fellowes’ writing style is both humorous and insightful. He has an eye for detail and a knack for creating vivid characters that you can’t help but root for. His observations about the British class system are both funny and thought-provoking.

Snobs is a great read for anyone interested in British culture and class structure. It’s a light-hearted look at the lives of the upper class, but it also offers an interesting perspective on how class can shape our lives and our relationships.

If you’re looking for a fun and entertaining read, I highly recommend Julian Fellowes’ 2004 novel, Snobs. It’s a witty and insightful look at the lives of the British upper class that will leave you laughing and thinking.
